The Kalispell Ski Club is moving to Blacktail Mountain this year.

The ski club is the lead organization that provides free ski lessons to youth in northwest Montana. For years the club has operated at Big Mountain, but will make the move this year to Blacktail ski area in Lakeside, Montana.

Class begin Jan. 21, 2023.

This year the Kalispell Ski Club will be offering lessons for 6- to 12-year-olds, but may expand to 13 and 14-year-old skiers.

The Kalispell ski swap is Oct. 1-2, and is the main fund-raiser for the Kalispell Ski Club.

If you would like to volunteer at the ski swap or to teach ski lessons through the Kalispell Ski Club, contact Nathan Magers at kalispellski@gmail.com.

The Kalispell Ski Club will have a social barbecue Sept. 11 for volunteers and for people wanting to learn more about the club.
