Leadership Montana accepting apps

Montana Living - Leadership Montana, the state’s premier leadership development organization, has opened the application process for the Class of 2018. The class will meet in communities across the state during the months of September, 2017 to May, 2018. Applications are accepted until April 15.

“Participants gain a deeper knowledge of issues facing Montana today and how we each play a role in building a better Montana” said president and chief executive officer Chantel Schieffer. “Our program is designed to meet the needs of professionals in all stages of their careers, from all industries and communities. We look forward to receiving applications from all corners of Montana,”

 

The Class of 2018 will visit Big Sky, Whitefish, Bozeman, Helena, Great Falls, Havre, Sidney and Billings. During visits, participants will learn about challenges and opportunities facing Montana through conversations with community leaders and tours of emerging and traditional businesses. 

 

Leadership Montana is a collaboration of leaders from business, labor, healthcare, higher education, non-profit organizations and government coming together to form a strong partnership for the betterment of our state. Leadership Montana offers participants a program that strengthens leadership skills while fostering personal growth and reflection. 

 

Established in 2003, the program has more than 500 alumni including members of the state legislature, state, city and county government officials, and leaders of higher education, private businesses and non-profits across Montana.
