Classes for seniors at Flathead Community College

There is plenty to keep seniors busy this fall in the Flathead Valley.

Flathead Valley Community College is offering a new opportunity for community members 65 and up to take credit class with FVCC’s Senior Institute. 

Classes are Fridays from Oct. 1 to Nov. 7, and registration begins Sept. 10. Fall classes include watercolor, Introduction to letterpress, creative writing, Lincoln’s history, Irish America, and healthy lifestyles.Classes are 1 p.m. to 3:05 p.m with beverages and social time before class.

On Nov. 7, a full lunch will be served before class at 11:30am. Tuition and fees include these pre-class activities and any materials or supplies needed for class. Participants need to submit a registration form at fvcc.edu/senior-institute. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
