Director of photography, chief editor, and co-producer Jeff Dougherty adds, “It has been such a great journey traveling all over Montana to film these sessions. The varied landscapes, the dynamic weather, and the incredible musicians make this such a glass-filling experience as a cinematographer. Our first session this season, filmed with The Last Revel, is no exception. With wildfires to our south, thunderstorms to the west, and a quickly setting sun, we had a very narrow window to capture their performance, but with patience and plenty of rain covers, we managed to record my favorite session so far; ‘Simple Wheel.’"
