This Weekend in Montana: Bigfork Festival of the Arts
Bigfork, the summer hub of activity on Flathead Lake, celebrates the 47th annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts this weekend.
The festival features live music, artists and crafters from around Montana. The event is free and open to the public.

Mary Fields: At the Junction of History and Myth with Leslie Budewitz
Join local author Leslie Budewitz, who will share insights from her historical fiction novella inspired by the extraordinary life of Mary Fields, also known as “Stagecoach Mary.” This presentation explores the historical record on the Black experience in 19th century Montana. Further, Budewitz explores the missionary era in Montana, and discusses how historical fiction can help Montanans better understand the past and the present.
