Bigfork Montana Spartan Race celebrates 10 years
The annual Spartan Race returns to Bigfork this weekend, with hundreds of racers and spectators at the course near Woods Bay.
This is a Spartan Race Trifecta weekend May 6-7, with four races set to converge on the difficult mountainous course. The race on Saturday featuers a Sprint (5K, 20 obstacles), a Super (10K, 25 obstacles), a Beast (half-marathon and 30 obstacles), and an Ultra (50K, 60 obstacles).

The weekend also features obstacle-free Spartan Trail races on May 7: A half-marathon and a 10K.
Parking is not allowed for the public at the event near Woods Bay. Spectators and racers will take shuttle busses from the parking area at Montana 35 and Montana 82.
