Montana songwriter festivals bring original music
The Red Lodge Songwriter Festival begins a series of three songwriter festivals in Montana and Wyoming.
The Red Lodge Songwriter Festival is June 22-24, and is followed by a festival in Cody, Wyo., and Whitefish, Montana.
In Red Lodge this June, artists include Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member Gary Nicholson, plus artists Kostas & James Dean Hicks, Leslie Satcher, Sunny Sweeney and Randy Montana. Talented songwriters from around the country will share their songs and stories for three days in Red Lodge.
Later this summer, the Whitefish Songwriter Festival is Sept. 14-16. The third annual Whitefish Songwriter Festival features 2022 Nashville hit songwriters Angela Kaset, Chuck Cannon, Billy Montana, Kostas (Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame Inductee), Susan Gibson, Helen Darling and James Dean Hicks.
Also at the Whitefish Festival are Hannah King, Marcedes Carroll, Brooks Forsyth, John Hewitt, Jared Lostracco, Jackson Emmer, Honeyboy & Boots, (Drew & Courtney Blackwell), Hannah Belle, Quenby Iandiorio, Tom Catmull, Michelle Rivers, Grace Morrison, Aaron Bibelhauser & Steve Fulton, Jackson Holte & Rumour Mill.
