Shows Dec. 6-8 at historic Conrad Mansion
The Gypsy Theatre Guild presents a live Radio broadcast recreation of Charles Dickens’ classic holiday tale “A Christmas Carol” Dec. 6-7 at the Conrad Mansion in Kalispell.
Orson Welles and Lionel Barrymore first presented this radio show on Christmas Eve in 1939, and it is faithfully recreated at the Mansion live for 4 shows.
Evening performances will be on December 6 & 7 at 7:00 pm. Matinees will be presented on December 7 & 8 at 2:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for performances beginning at 7:00 pm, and 1:30 pm for matinees beginning at 2:00 pm.
“A Christmas Carol” is a tale that recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and, later, the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After their visits, Scrooge comes to terms with his miserly existence and is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.
