Missoula has its groove on with live music

Slash opens tour in Missoula

How about last week in Missoula?

Vampire Weekend gave locals and visitors a special treat, playing a sold out evening show on Saturday, followed by a first-ever matinee performance on Sunday.

Mat Kearney delivered performances with Donavon Frankenreiter and local Bozeman rockers Lost Canyons (photos). Dogs In A Pile jammed out at the Rialto, Jamestown Revival graced The ELM stage, and Jordan Davis rocked the Adams Center with the help of Mitchell Tenpenny and Ashley Cooke. Not a dull moment to be had in River City.
