Convening Indigenous Voices Forum, Part 1
Our Side: Elisa Harkins, Tanya Lukin Linklater, Marianne Nicolson, and Tanis S'eiltin
Wendy Red Star curated this exhibition, a reexamination of land, body, language, and history from the perspective of four contemporary indigenous American and First Nations artists: Elisa Harkins, Tanya Lukin Linklater, Marianne Nicolson, and Tanis S'eiltin.

Shed/Afternow: Work by Linda Stoudt in the MAM Collection
When Stoudt's husband of 42 years died from cancer in 2012, part of her grieving process was to make art. She gifted 24 artworks to MAM’s Collection in 2016.  Her work is a remarkable testament to the power of love and life.

Dear Viewer: Text-Based Artwork From the MAM Collection
"Dear Viewer" is a concise survey of text-based artworks from the MAM Collection, including 12 new and never-before-exhibited acquisitions. These works demonstrate a range of methods and motivations for integrating words and images.

Chris Pappan: Ghost Images
Pappan (Osage/ Kaw/Cheyenne River Sioux/Mixed European), with roots stemming from the Lowbrow art movement, combines contemporary culture with historical ledger drawings. His deft portraiture plays with traditional methods of depiction, freely exaggerating, doubling, and distorting imagery.

Exhibiting artist Elizabeth Dove offers an intimate look into the complex processes and motivation behind her exhibition, "It Started with Aardvark." Dove is professor in the School of Art at the University of Montana, known for integrating digital technology and traditional printmaking practices.
