4 ravens gallery is pleased to present a curated collection of all things spring by our artists. Including clay bird houses by Jo Newhall, forged garden tools by Tuli Fisher, original oil paintings by Rebecca Fiske, paper mâché rabbits by Jennifer Ogden and new work by Ruth Lane, Judith Colvin and Marilyn Bacon.

Gallery 709 in Montana Art and Framing is featuring "Bringing Notice to the Anthropocene" by the Emergency Sci-Art Collective from May 5-26. The Emergency is a collaborative group of scientists and/or artists from the University of Montana interested in making artwork centered around environmental passions, questions, and concerns utilizing collage, painting, fiber art, ceramics, and mixed media.

Montana teens and adults competing in Paint the State 2023 now have the opportunity win up to $20,000. 45 cash prizes totaling over $100,000 will be given to art contest winners in regional and statewide divisions. All Montana residents 13 and older can participate by creating monument-size public works of art that inspire drug-free lives. Registration is open now through May 31. The City of Missoula Public Art Committee invites artists residing in Missoula County to apply for a public art project to create art on traffic signal boxes (TSB) located throughout Missoula. The goal of the project is to use local traffic signal boxes as “canvases,” greatly enhancing Missoula’s visual surroundings. Apply HERE
