The annual Whitefish Wine and Food Fest is May 3 at Grouse Mountain Lodge.

For the last 32 years, Whitefish has hosted the annual wine tasting, food festival and auction. This year’s event, themed Hollywood Nights, will be  at Grouse Mountain Lodge May 3 from 6 - 9 p.m.

The annual event raises money to support children in our community through sports and the performing arts. All proceeds from this benefit go to Project Whitefish Kids, the organization that maintains the Smith Fields Sports Complex, and the Whitefish Theatre Company.

This year's food is a sampling of cuisines from local restaurants including Indah Sushi, Logan’s Grill at Grouse, Ed McGrew’s Barbeque, Latitude 48, Last Chair Kitchen & Bar, Fleur Bake Shop, and Whitefish Lake Restaurant. Summit Beverage always makes wine tasting a delight, providing a wonderful selection of wines and introducing new varieties for tasters to sample. Craft beer will also be provided by Jeremiah Johnson at Black Star.

Auction items include a Golden Knights Las Vegas package, a private surf and turf dinner for six, a weekend getaway in Essex, a treehouse weekend on Big Mountain, a private movie party, sporting equipment, golf packages, wine, art and historic Glacier photos, baskets from local businesses, local beef from Wagu Beef and KM Beef, restaurant gift certificates, theatre tickets, and more.

Local musicians John Dunnigan and David Walburn will be playing music during the evening and acting as the event’s emcees.

Seating is limited to 150. Tickets are $100 per person and include all food and beverages. You can also buy an entire table for ten for $1000 or sponsor a table for $500 that comes with two tickets.
