Sustainability Workshop series, Water Conservation in Bozeman

The 2016 Sustainability Workshop series, “Water Conservation in Bozeman: Fast and Easy Ways to Save Water Around Your Home” is from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Beall Park recreation center, located at 415 N. Bozeman Ave.
 
The workshop will include a presentation and Q & A with the City of Bozeman’s water conservation specialist. Topics covered will include rebates offered by the City of Bozeman; how much water is used in your home and simple water conservation strategies like how to check for leaks; high efficiency fixtures and retrofits for indoor and outdoor uses; and landscaping tips to reduce outdoor water use.
 
Organic food and local drinks will be provided. Participants will need to bring their own cups. Drinks are sponsored by the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association.
 
The spring 2016 Sustainability Workshop Series is sponsored by MSU Extension’s Housing and Environmental Health Program, the Montana Weatherization Training Center and the City of Bozeman.
