MSU School of Music offers concerts

Capstones and Steppingstones concerts

The Montana State University School of Music, part of the College of Arts and Architecture, announces two concerts as part of its multimedia series. The first Capstones and Steppingstones concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30. The second concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1. The free public concerts will be held in Reynolds Recital Hall.

The Capstones and Steppingstones concerts showcase the culmination of study, research and creative work done by senior music technology students as part of their studies at MSU. The students will present works created during their senior research/capstone course, as well as several works by underclass students.

Reynolds Recital Hall is located in Howard Hall, across from the MSU duck pond.

The Multimedia Series features live-sound diffusion through an 8.1 multi-channel speaker array and HD video projection. The concerts are sponsored by the School of Music's MonSTER Studios.
