Veteran of Sip n Dip lounge launches new entertainment business

Despite being landlocked, Montana has a unique history of mermaid culture, with the iconic Sip 'N Dip Lounge in Great Falls being the original mermaid business and where mermaid Marvel honed her skills.

Marvel is the lead mermaid and business owner of "Mercariously," a new entertainment service featuring mermaids. Marvel said her mission is to "create core childhood memories and help adults hold onto the magic, imagination, creativity, and optimism that can so easily fade as we age."

Mercariously offers a wide variety of family friendly mermaid-themed immersive experiences, both dry land and water based, for in-person and virtual appearances at events of all types and sizes, and for all ages. And birthday parties are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to services.

And what better time to launch a mermaid entertainment business in Montana than, MerMay. MerMay is an online trend and month-long art challenge in celebration of creativity, community, and of course mermaids.

But Mercariously is more than just an entertainment business, the head mermaid said. They are passionate about giving back to the community and are committed to raising awareness about water safety and environmental conservation, according to Marvel. In fact, Mercariously has partnered with local charities, non-profit organizations involved in water conservation, preservation and education, as well as groups that support children to work with.
