A book from long ago, told today

Fashioned in the style of tales told long ago (circa 1060), this 8.5 x 11 children’s picture book is beautifully detailed with eighteen  illustrations by Shane Morgan.

My grandfather, Jacob, related this story to his grandchildren many times over, back in the 1960’s. I’m sure you’ll enjoy sharing it with your family. Suitable for ages 3 and older.

Children have been my source of inspiration and motivation for this modest effort. Therefore, should it prove successful, I am committed to donating all profits to children’s charities in the USA.

Excerpt from Jacob and the Giant:

'Once upon a time, a little boy, named Jacob, took his father’s team of horses and wagon into the Dark Forest to gather firewood.

Suddenly, a big scary giant stepped out from behind the trees where he’d been watching. He kidnapped the boy and forced him to spend the night in a small cave. Jacob had to think of a way to outsmart the giant, so he could escape and get back home.'
